MESSAGE TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE MM&P FEDERAL EMPLOYEES MEMBERSHIP GROUP – POSTED 4-15-2025
EO 14251, signed by President Trump on March 27, 2025, attempts to eliminate CBAs with our federal employers.
We currently have CBAs in effect and employers are obligated by law to honor them.
However, MM&P members working with our federal employers are no longer having union dues deducted from their paychecks.
Like any business, it takes funds to run the Union.
CIVMARS have always had 100 percent backing from MM&P HQ officials. However, without dues, our Union cannot continue to fight for you.
Therefore, FEMG members should consider paying dues independently and directly to MM&P to remain in good standing with the Union.
FEMG dues can be paid through one of the following options:
— Contact MM&P Accounts Receivable at 410-691-8143 to pay over the phone using a credit card.
— Log in to the Members’ Only section of the Union’s website, www.bridgedeck.org, to pay by credit card.
For assistance logging in to the website, contact the IT Department: IT@bridgedeck.org.
— Mail a check to: MM&P, Attn: Accounts Receivable, 700 Maritime Blvd., Suite B, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090
If you have any questions, please contact membership@bridgedeck.org.
MM&P can only continue to fight for your rights by challenging imprudent changes to your working conditions, resolving pay discrepancies, informally mediating workplace conflicts, representing individual members on undeserved punitive disciplinary actions, representing members during inquiries and investigations, etc., with your support in paying dues.
MM&P intends to challenge these actions since CIVMARS do not perform counter-intelligence or investigative work as their primary function.
We need every one of us in the fight because when we fight, we win!
Randi Ciszewski, MM&P Government Fleet Representative
