What type of maritime opportunities exist at MM&P?

There are five memberships groups within MM&P: Offshore, Inland, Atlantic Maritime, FEMG and Pilot. What is an Associate?

Most MM&P associate members are students at U.S. maritime academies. However, this category of membership is open to all individuals, approved by the MM&P General Executive Board, who are not represented by MM&P for collective bargaining purposes. Do I have to be a MM&P member to join the MM&P Federal Credit Union?

The Masters, Mates & Pilots Federal Credit Union is open to all MM&P members and their families. Your membership can last a lifetime.

I am a new MM&P Offshore applicant – what training benefits do I have at MITAGS?

MM&P Offshore applicants and members who have sailed at least 30 days onboard a MM&P vessel may use up to four weeks of training and room/board at MITAGS within 6 months following their last date of discharge. One roundtrip transportation reimbursement may also be provided per eligibility period, depending on the policies of the MM&P company with whom the applicant/member last sailed.
