Download the USCG Poster: “Sexual Assault Aboard a Vessel Is a Crime”
The US Coast Guard has produced a poster to facilitate reporting a sexual assault. The poster can be downloaded from the MM&P website.
Please Note: The poster includes a QR code that takes a person who wants to make a report to the internet to download and install an app. The app connects to the Coast Guard Investigative Service by text, web and tip line.
“This is an ANONYMOUS way to report a crime,” the agency says. “See something wrong? Do something right.”
“The Coast Guard Investigative Service cares about you and your crew. Protect your crew and yourself. Contact CGIS if a crime occurs aboard your ship.”
