May 15th 2019

The Captain Richard Phillips and Lane Kirkland Maritime Trust will hold a National Maritime Day Reception and Dinner on Tuesday, May 21, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., at The Kimpton George Hotel in Washington, D.C.

All proceeds from the event will go to fund scholarships for individuals pursuing careers in maritime or related industries.

The event will include the opportunity for a frank, off-the-record exchange of ideas with keynote speaker Congressman Bradley Byrne (R- Alabama).

The dinner is a celebration of our Nation’s maritime heritage and will help raise funds for scholarships for individuals pursuing a career in maritime or related industries.

A strong maritime industry is critical to our Nation’s economy and national security.
